Tour Itinerary

  • Day 1

    • Pick up from Bucharest Airport.
    • Travel from Bucharest, the capital of Romania to Rucar, one of the most beautiful mountain  places
    • Traditional dinner and accommodation in a wonderful location  of  Rucar area.
  • DAY 2

    • Breakfast in Rucar.
    • Travel to Campulung-Muscel in order to visit historical places such as: Namaesti Monastery, Negru Voda Monastery and Mateias Mausoleum.
    • Traditional lunch in  Dambovicioara, in the countryside, a magnificent region well-known for the freshness of the air and for the spectacular landscape.
    • Visit  Dambovicioara Cave and discover the hidden gifts of nature.
    • Visit Ciocanu, an old rural area located in a gorgeous area which has The Piatra Craiului Mountains on one side and The Bucegi Mountains on the other side.
    • Dinner and accommmodation in Rucar.
  • DAY 3

    • Breakfast  in Rucar.
    • Travel to Bran Castle which was built in 1377 and well-known all over the world because    of Vlad Tepes, called Dracula, one of the Romanian rulers. In Romania he happens to be seen as a hero rather than a blood-thirsty vallach.
    • Lunch in Sinaia.
    • Travel to Peles Castle, a  marvellous royal palace at Sinaia which  could be considered one of the most beautiful castles of Europe.
      Fairy-tale turrets rise above green meadows, and grand reception halls fashioned in Moorish, Florentine and French styles collectively overwhelm.  The first European castle to have central heating and electricity , the Peles Castle was intended to be the summer residence of   Romania’s longest-serving monarch, King Carol I.
    • Travel to Brasov, a medieval but also a modern city surrounded by gorgeous mountains.
    • Dinner and accommodation  at Brasov.
  • DAY 4

    • Breakfast in Brasov.
    • Sightseeing in Brasov, visiting the Black Church and the First Romanian School.
    • Lunch in Poiana Brasov, at Coliba Haiducilor a traditional Romanian restaurant, located near a wonderful forest.
    • Visit Rasnov Fortress.
    • Travel to Rucar.
    • Dinner and accommodation in Rucar.
  • DAY 5

    • Breakfast in Rucar.
    • Live like a Romanian peasant for one day: travel to Ciocanu, hide and take a ride in a horse drawn cart and bake Romanian bread and cakes.
    • Traditional evening in Rucar.
    • Accommodation in Rucar.
  • DAY 6

    • Breakfast  in Rucar.
    • Travel back to Bucharest.
    • Lunch in Bucharest.
    • Transfer to Bucharest Airport.
